The course is suitable for those who want to conduct the annual inspection of the company's personal fall protection equipment (PPE).

The goal is for the participants to be able to conduct an inspection of personal fall protection equipment and understand the importance of using equipment that is complete and approved for use.

Knowledge

State the most important legal requirements and technical rules for PPE
Describe the rights and obligations of employees and employers with regard to health and safety standards
State the rights and duties of the expert
State the statutory and manufacturer
specific PPE labeling specifications
Describe possible PPE uses
Describe restraint and fall arrest systems, and systems for rescue from height and depth
Describe PPE maintenance procedures and measures
List possible defects and damage to PPE

Skills

Perform PPE function test
Determine defects, damage and fitness for use
Perform PPE labeling with inspection stickers in accordance with manufacturer specifications
Filling out and maintaining control cards
