Instructor Qualification Program for BZEE Wind Turbine Technician Courses

This training course qualifies instructors to design and teach training courses for students who want to become entry-level wind turbine technicians. It is tailored to meet the needs of educators already working as instructors in technical and vocational education colleges who want to diversify into the field of wind energy. Participants without a teaching background may be eligible to participate depending on their background and experience

A combination of theory and extensive practical exercises on real wind turbine components equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to teach students the fundamentals of wind turbine technology and O&M related tasks needed to become an entry-level wind turbine technician. The course does not focus on a specific technology or OEM, therefore offering participants an independent overview of wind energy systems and technology in a clear and effective manner. In addition, the course is designed to enable participants to teach from a safety-conscious perspective, which is paramount for an occupation in the wind industry.

The course is split into modules, which can be customized depending on participants prior knowledge and experience.
